My name is Neal Arwood. I’m the Missions Pastor at Grace Baptist Church in Knoxville, TN. (www.gracebc.org) I just finished reading the BLOG from your website and am interested in talking more about GAP and how we might be able to help. I found your site from the link on imb.org. It looks like you are focused in a more rural setting where some backpacker types might be helpful.
I’ve also contacted Paul Sheaffer because we are interested in working in urban and rural areas.
If you’re interested in working together, let me know. I know that many missionaries in Central and South America have lots of churches interested in working with them.
I’m looking for an opportunity to be a part of a church planting movement. We’ve been involved in various places in the world over the past 10 years, but now we want to be part of something more than just a single project. We’ve tried a couple of things on our own and now see the need to work under the direction of someone who is “like minded” (with regards to church planting) and also lives near the people to oversee and continue the work after the “team” returns to the US.
